How to use it?
1. Put the five-color brown rice together, rinse it thoroughly, then place it in a container. Add clean water until it covers the rice, and soak for 4–5 hours.
2. Do not discard the soaking water. Pour the soaked rice and the water together into the rice cooker’s inner pot. Add more water — slightly more than you would use for cooking regular rice. The ratio of rice to water should be about 1:3.
3. Place the inner pot into the rice cooker, close the lid, select the “Porridge” function, and cook until the porridge becomes thick and smooth.
